Through specialized training and years of experience as an Engineer, Producer, and Musician, I allow my clients to express complete creativity in a comfortable environment as we capture a performance in a manner that enhances the artistic vision. From this vantage point I can function as either transmitter or translator of the artist’s vision, being as transparent or as audible as they want me to be. In my nearly 20 years as a music producer I have been involved in many different projects in all genres of music. In some cases I simply documented the performance, while in other cases I played a major role in creative aspects for the entire project from pre-production to mastered recording.

Tracking can be a wonderful moment in time for the artist or band! Walking into the studio to realize your musical vision can be both exciting and daunting. I pride myself on my "boardside manner", removing the barriers of studio lingo and working with the artist to create their masterpiece. Tracking is the time for the artist to let loose and be themselves while not having to worry if the music is being captured properly. That's my job. You get to be yourself and make the music that you love, and I get to be myself and make sure you are happy with the results.

Mixing is a delicate process of bringing together all elements of the recording into a cohesive, artistic vision. I strive to enhance every aspect of the recording and allow each element to fullfill it's purpose in the song. Contact me and follow the process below for mixing.

You deliver the files via Hard Disk or DVD, or you upload them to my Dropbox or to your own file hosting website. Make sure all of your files are aligned to the start of the session to make importing into my DAW more efficient.

I will start prepping the files as soon as I get them. I'll listen to a rough mix of the song and I'll let you know if I forsee any issues with the tracks.

I will mix and upload a high quality MP3 of the finished mix and you will receive an email with a link to download the song.

Once you have heard all the mixes, we make any changes necessary.

After you approve all of the mixes, I will send them to the mastering facility of your choice.

In modern music culture, producing can mean a myriad of things and often takes on different meanings in different situations. I approach producing from the standpoint of both a musician and an engineer. I appreciate the artist and the song for who and what they are and I strive to bring out the best qualities. Sometimes that means I simply allow the artist to do what they do and make a proper recording. Sometimes a little coaxing is necessary. And other times I'm there to see the process through from song writing to the final master.
